In regards to this “canon couple” issue that shouldn’t even really be an issue; I feel like a lot of people are just disregarding everything our awesome mod has been saying.

Allow me to clear it up, as far as my understanding goes:

1.) If a character has a canon lover, then that should remain canon for this role play group. Belle is with Adam, Hercules is with Meg, and Kida should be with Milo.

2.) If a character does NOT have a canon lover, then that character is free to pursue other characters that do not have a canon lover.  Ursula can be with Facilier. Maleficent can be with Hades. Alice can have a crush on Christopher Robin.

3.) If a character does NOT have a canon lover, they CAN NOT actively pursue a character that DOES.  Flirting is acceptable, but an actual attempt at a relationship should be avoided. (Kuzco can flirt with Kida all he wants, but they should not become a couple.  Ursula will tease Doppler relentlessly, but nothing will ever actually come of it.)

Now, this is just me speaking here, but, if there is an AFFAIR going on, it should honestly be discussed with all parties involved in the love triangle. Not the characters, but the Role Players. For example, if I actually wanted to act on my head canon of Adam having a homocrush on Hercules, I would obviously talk about it with Belle and Herc first, as a possible plot line or something. NOT that I would actually DO that, but I’m just saying.

Ugh. My inner Ursula is getting a work out here.
